Acupuncture not Cortisone.

Mocha, a 6 year old dachshund, came to East West Veterinary Clinic after 6 weeks of pain which was being treated unsuccessfully at another clinic with cortisone.

Cortisone stops body inflammation – which can be a good thing in swollen and bruised spinal cords but by stopping the inflammation, the cortisone stops the healing by stopping scar tissue which heals the tear in the disc.

After 3 acupuncture sessions, Mocha rapidly regained the use and strength in his back legs. He is now an outstandingly strong and handsome dachshund again.
