Cancer recovery.

Marsha a 9 year old standard poodle came in to East West Vet with a very large malignant uterine carcinoma in October 2008. She was emaciated with the tumour being 10% of her body  weight and consequent poor blood clotting which did not respond to blood ‘products’.

We operated with her anaemia at critical levels, wondering if it was worth the effort.

A smaller tumour on her tail was also a nasty one being a squarmous cell carcinoma. This was also removed.

Her loving family sat with her after the major operation for 3 days willing her to live.

Almost as soon as her cancer was out Masha started eating better and regaining her muscle and energy.  She received herbal treatment for 3 months and is terrific now, 27 months later.  She is enjoying life with many walks on the beach and no apparent tumour regrowth at either site.
